Susan J. Eischeid | submitted photo: This beautiful girl is Sapphire, as precious as the gem for which she is named. Sapphire is a sweet young adult, around 3 years old. She has a pretty blue and white coat, soulful brown eyes, and an affectionate nature. Best of all, Sapphire is already spayed and can go home today.

Adoption fee is $125 for dogs and $105 for cats. All animals are fully up to date on inoculations. Animals for adoption are available at Lowndes County Animal Shelter, 337 Gil Harbin Blvd., Valdosta.
