Georgia Christian trio signs with Freed-Hardeman

- Georgia Christian School Gentry Dees, Ellie Lewis and Presley Pittman, teammates at Georgia Christian signed recently to remain teammates at the next level. The trio will play soccer at Freed-Hardeman University.
VALDOSTA — Georgia Christian School has announced that three of its standout girls’ soccer players, Gentry Dees, Ellie Lewis, and Presley Pittman, have signed letters of intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at Freed-Hardeman University (FHU) in Henderson, Tennessee.
These talented athletes have been instrumental in the success of the Georgia Christian Generals’ soccer program. Their dedication, skill, and teamwork have not only led their team to numerous victories but have also earned them individual accolades and recognition.
Lewis, a senior midfielder and team captain, has consistently demonstrated leadership on and off the field. Her performance during the 2024 season included multiple goals and assists, contributing significantly to the team’s offensive strength.
Dees and Pittman have also showcased exceptional talent throughout their high school careers, playing pivotal roles in the team’s defensive and midfield strategies. Their commitment to excellence has set a high standard for future players in the program.
Freed-Hardeman University’s women’s soccer program, competing in the NAIA’s Mid-South Conference, is known for its competitive spirit and emphasis on both athletic and academic excellence. The addition of Dees, Lewis, and Pittman is anticipated to bring fresh energy and skill to the team’s dynamics.
The Georgia Christian School community gathered to celebrate the trio’s achievements during a special signing ceremony, highlighting the school’s commitment to fostering student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and on the field.
