Plott Hounds are described as "loyal, alert, and intelligent," and Avocado lives up to all these adjectives. he is a little shy at first but warms up quickly and loves to learn new tricks for treats, so will be easy to train. Avocado is around four years old, a perfect age, and is already spayed so can go home today.
Susan J. Eischeid | Submitted photo: In the market for a beautiful feline cuddle muffin? Look no further than Miss Gracie, a gorgeous grey tabby adult with pale jade eyes. Gracie is also a good conversationalist and has a megawatt purr. She can't wait to join a family today.
Adoption fee for dogs is $80and for cats is $55. All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are de-wormed, flea sprayed, nails are trimmed, ears are cleaned/treated for ear mites and are vaccinated with their first set of shots. All pets are spayed or neutered, receive a vet exam, rabies vaccination, microchip ID and registration.
Animals for adoption are available at Lowndes County Animal Shelter, 337 Gil Harbin Blvd., Valdosta.
