VALDOSTA — Three Lowndes High wrestlers will soon see how they stack up to the nation’s best high school-aged wrestlers.

This Saturday, Matt Godwin, David Bertsch and Justin Smith are heading to Birmingham, Ala. for nationals.

There’s no bigger event for high school wrestlers than the national tournament. The best wrestlers will all be in Birmingham, and each one will be there with the same ultimate goal: a national championship.
