Kelly Dean Croft, 61 of Archer, passed away on October 8, 2009 at Shands Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born December 9, 1947 in McAplin, FL.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ferrell Croft and sister, Ernestine Green. He is survived by his partner of 11 years, Nancy Lee Ruth of Archer; daughters, Sheena Croft of Denton, TX and Sonia Croft-Kimball of Live Oak; brothers, Laverne F. Croft, Daniel Martin Croft Jr., Daryl (Lois) Croft and John Nelson (Latrell) Croft; sisters, Rosa Lee (T.H.) Burns, Myrle Dasher and Geneva (Lemuel) Herring, grandchildren, Chelsea and Dusty and great-grandchild, Jazen.
Mr. Croft was a land surveyor. He most recently worked for Daniel M. Croft Land Surveying in Bronson, FL.
He enjoyed gardening, music and sports, especially the Miami Hurricanes, New York Yankees and the Indianapolis Colts.
Memorial services will be held Monday, October 12th 2009 at 2:00pm at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea, 823 N.W. 143rd St.
