Ever wonder how your favorite restaurant ranks with the health inspectors? Now you can easily access the information for yourself. Full detailed reports from restaurant inspections are now available online at www.southhealthdistrict.com/foodscores.asp.
The inspection process for restaurants, carry-out facilities, mobile food service operations and temporary food service operations is to ensure food is handled, stored and prepared safely.
“This new system will make it very easy for the consumer to find and see a facility’s inspection report,” stated Tad Williams, South Health District environmental director.
On the inspection page, searches can be conducted by using a specific date range, entering keywords, choosing an establishment’s name, address, city or zip code, choosing a letter grade, or by choosing the first letter of an establishment’s name.
