Johnny R. Turner, 42, of Branford, FL passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at his home. The Plant City, FL native moved to Branford 12 years ago. He attended First Baptist Church of Branford, FL.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife: Mellissa Turner; one daughter: Priscilla Turner; two sons: Brett Wilson and Josh Turner; two sisters: Lorisa & Adam Callaway and Cindy & Danny Rodgers, all of Branford, FL; one brother: David & Trina Cartwright, Bell, FL.
A visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Daniels Funeral Home, Branford, FL. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with Mr. Danny Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or an account at Capital City Bank, Branford, FL to help support his three children.

Barbara Burgess Bispham
November 1, 1928 – April 26, 2011
Barbara Burgess Bispham, 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Macon, Georgia on November 1, 1928 to the late John Shields Burgess and the late Mary Wadley Robles. When Barbara was a young girl, her mother moved the family from Macon to Sarasota, Florida. It was there that she met the love of her life, Nathaniel Jackson “Jack” Bispham. They married and began their life together in 1944. The dairy business moved the family to Live Oak, Florida in 1955, where their children completed their high school years. The dairy industry led them on a venture to Nassau, Bahamas, where they lived for five years. Upon returning to the United States, they settled in Brandon, Florida. Barbara was active in many churches throughout her life, but found her true church home in Brandon Assembly. There she was known as a “prayer warrior,” where she and her close friends prayed three times a week. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Jackson “Jack” Bispham; son, William Aubrey “Bebo” Bispham; daughter, Sara Elizabeth “Beth” Mandish; grandson, Duke D. “Trey” McCallister and sister, Mary Burgess Wickersham. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Mary Katherine “Kathy” McCallister, Lake City, Fla.; son, John Morris “Corky” Bispham, Lake City, Fla. and daughter, Debra Jean “Debbie” Bispham, Valrico, Fla. She is also survived by her brother, John “Pete” Burgess (Jane), Bradenton, Fla. and sister, Jean Burgess Shaw, Sarasota, Fla. Barbara was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren. A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Brandon Assembly of God. Please join the family in celebrating her glorious homecoming. Walter “Sonny” Ford

On October 4, 1933 God blessed the late Timothy and Allene Ford with the birth of their first child Walter, affectionately known as “Sonny”. Walter attended the Public Schools of Suwannee County. He was a member of African Missionary Baptist Church.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Edna Mae Garner-Ford who preceded him in death. On Sunday, May 1 2011 at 11:45 a.m. at Memorial University Hospital God chose to call his soul to rest. He leaves to forever cherish his memories: four devoted daughters: Dr. Selina Z. Ford-Jones (Lawrence), Sonia L. Ford- Speights (Charles, Jr.), Karen Y. Ford- Thomas(Trevor, Sr.), Wanda R. Ford, one devoted son: Koslo C. Ford, Sr.: adoptive daughter Elizabeth Washington: nineteen adoring grandchildren: Jaren(Kenesha) Jones, Ja’Lona Jones; Tilisa, Koslo, Jr, Ke’Andra, Shantrell and Karlos Ford; Charles D, Amari’ and AjaJaughn Speights; Quinntirra, Trevor, Jr, Kwanzani, N’Kenga and Joshua Thomas; Garian and Ajami Cason whom he reared; Mercedes Alexander, Casey Reeves; Two Great Granddaughters Janiya and Sha’Myra Jones; one grand-dog “Suwannee Jones”; Four sisters: Grace Jenkins, Joyce McIntyre (Leslie), Dianna Ford, and Janis Ford; two brothers, Timothy Ford, Jr. (Hazel), Jerome Ford. One Uncle Rev. Lee A. Ford, Sr., Special Cousin Paige Tillman. Three-sisters-in-law Ozie Demps, Louise Philpot (Edwin), Dorothy Scott (Willie J.) three brothers-in-law Willie J. Garner Sr., Alfonso Cannon, Sr, and Henry L. Weatherspoon: Five very dear nieces: Minister Blanquita Williams, CaSonia Williams, Sharonda Mayo, Edith Garner; great niece: LaTavia Hopkins. Five God-Children: Eric A. Brown, Donnie Allen, Oscar Gibbons, Queen Elizabeth Jelks, Shawn Mayo-Andrews. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Homegoing Services for Bro. Walter “Sonny” Ford, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 07, 2011 from the Santuary of African Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Alex Fountain is the pastor and Rev. Dr. Craig P. Riley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Eastside Memorial Cemetery in Live Oak, Florida. The family will receive other relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 06, 2011 also at the African Missionary Baptist church. Professional Mortuary Services entrusted to Eric A.
