Valdosta State’s softball team will head to Southaven, Miss. this weekend for the Gulf South Conference Softball Tournament.

The Blazers will be the top seed in the tournament, which will be held at the Greenbrook Softball Complex in Southaven.

VSU will start the tournament at noon Eastern time on Friday against No. 8 seed West Georgia. The winner of that game will face either No. 5 seed Delta State or No. 4 seed West Alabama at 1:30 p.m. The championship round is set for Sunday.

Adult tournament passes are $12, adult day passes are $5, student tournament passes (for students seven years old to college age with proper ID) are $7. Student daily passes are $3.
