The duo used a 6-0 week, with wins over Miles and conference foes West Alabama and West Florida, to earn the conference awards.

Albritton leads Valdosta State in home runs so far this season, and was second on the team in batting average for the week. She hit .609 with a .654 on-base percentage. Albritton led the team in runs scored with 11, and she also knocked in eight runs.

In six games played, Albritton tallied five multi-hit games. For the season, she is carrying a nine-game hitting streak. She was an impressive 4 of 5 with two RBIs, two stolen bases and three runs scored in a win over Miles. She reached base four times, scored twice and drove in two more runs in a win over West Alabama.  For the season, Albritton is hitting .494 with eight homers and 27 RBI. She leads the GSC in hits (38) and runs scored (32).  Hadley tallied three wins on the week to push her record to an impressive team leading 9-1. She threw a one-hitter with nine strikeouts in a 9-0, six-inning victory over Miles and was just as solid in her two GSC starts.

She tossed her eighth and ninth complete games of the season, only giving up five hits and one run while striking out 12 against West Alabama and West Florida. For the season, Hadley is putting up a mere 0.78 earned run average while holding opponents to just .180. Those numbers along with her nine victories all top the GSC.
