Candidate questionnaires and videos
The canddiates answered several questions from The Suwannee Democrat. Most of the local candidates state on video why they want your vote. To read the questionnaires and view the videos, click here.
Ballot information
There are 19 elected positions on the ballot. Not all positions are on all ballots. It depends on what district you live in. To view a sample ballot in which you would cast, click here and follow the directions.
In addition to the elected positions, there are 11 proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution. The language to most is pretty complicated. Click here to view what the amendments mean in easy to understand terms and arguments for and against each amendment.
National election information
Beginning Tuesday evening we will have a live blog of Twitter feeds from national media outlets covering the election, a slideshow of voters at the polls from across the country, and videos after the polls close from our partners at NDN (with a focus on candidates’ speeches and reactions to presidential race results).
