Construction on a state-of-the-art sawmill at the catalyst site in Suwannee County is underway and applications are now being accepted for various positions within the company, according to Sheryl Rehberg, executive director of CareerSource North Florida. Klausner Lumber One LLC is expected to bring about 350 jobs within the first three years of operation.
There are currently over a dozen jobs posted on CareerSource’s website including: forklift driver, sawmill; forklift driver, planer mill; electrician department manager; wheel loader driver infeed-saw; kiln/boiler operator; electrician; metal working manager; metal worker; log yard supervisor; human resources manager; accounting clerk; controller; on-site IT support; environmental, health and safety manager; and a senior accountant.
In April, CareerSource North Florida had about 500 people turn out for an event at the Suwannee-Hamilton Technical Center in Live Oak which educated job seekers about the company and the jobs that will be available.
“We are pleased these job openings are open in Employ Florida,” said Rehberg. “This is the phase of the project many people have been waiting for. Our staff at CareerSource North Florida stands ready to assist you, from getting registered in Employ Florida to tightening up your resume. We are here to serve jobseekers and assist the company in finding the right talent for their operation.”
Prospective employees must be registered with Employ Florida to apply. You can do this by visiting www.employflorida.com. This includes completing the Background Wizard, uploading or inputting a resume and completing all of the assessments in Employ Florida. This will take some time if you are new to Employ Florida.

Step three would allow the job seeker to search for Klausner positions in Employ Florida. Fifteen positions are already posted. Request a referral for the position desired and staff at CareerSource North Florida will compare the individual’s qualifications to those of the job posted.
