VALDOSTA — The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce announces the Home Builders Association of South Georgia as the recipient of the Leading Business of the Week award. Located at 3380 Greystone Way, Valdosta, GA 31604, the association has been recognized for its contributions to the local community and its leadership within the building industry.
For the past 23 years, the Home Builders Association of South Georgia has received numerous GOAL Awards (Georgia Outstanding Association Leadership) for its industry efforts at the statewide level. The association has been instrumental in supporting local builders and advancing the growth of the construction industry in South Georgia. Recently, one of its members, Franklin Bailey, was named state president for the 2024-2025 year, marking another significant milestone for the association.
Jill Maine, executive officer of the Home Builders Association of South Georgia, said, “It has been an extreme honor to serve as our Association’s director for the last 23 years. The support from our members and local board has made this the most rewarding career I could have ever hoped for. Our members are simply the best, and it’s a privilege to work with the best in our community.”
