Valdosta High School kicks off the annual Keys to the Future event

VALDOSTA — For the past four years Valdosta High School has partnered with Valdosta

Toyota and Wiregrass Technical College to present the “Keys to the Future.” This program give rewards to students who meet goals based on maintaining all passing grades, no behavior referrals and no absences or tardies for the four and half week grading period. Students receive rewards from local community partners in education each four and a half weeks.

During the last week of school seniors who met these same goals and completed college ready initiatives such as taking entrance exams, college applications, and college visits are eligible to be in the drawing for 14 graduating seniors to try to open the door to a new Scion donated by Valdosta Toyota. One lucky senior will drive away with this new car and the 13 others will receive various items such as Ipads, laptops, etc.

The following students received a free ticket to Wild Adventures for meeting all goals for the first semester: Devante Lawson, Yolanda Riley, Naomi Nelson, Jonas Brokman, Alexandra Colbert, Ivanna Thomas, Parker Campiglia, Cecilia Carroll, Erin Carter, Lorna Chitty, Tahirah Curry, Leila Hampton, Chloe Harris, Krupesh Patel, Anna Taylor, Cameron Warren, Ashari Lancaster, Tomiya Arnold, Tabious Miller, Tiana Sandifer, Taija Houseal, Gary Zhao, William Zhao, Kayla Willis, Aaliyah Duncan, Malique Maxwell, Jaylen Cannon, Elizabeth Roy, Valencia Davis, Damonia Berrian, Jasmine Murphy, Kristin Brinkley, Simran Patel, Arieona Watford, Amanda Carter, Rashaan Skrine, Margaret Cosper, Tavon Westly, Adam Murphy, Bailey Roesch, Aaron Brown, Amanda Edwards.
