Dr. and Mrs. Jeffery Neal Cox of Nashville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Hailey Allison Cox, to Alex Wright Collins, son of Dr. Shirley Diane  Wright of Ocilla, Ga., and Mr. Carlton Andrew Collins of Fitzgerald, Ga.

A wedding is planned at 10:30 a.m. May 16, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Nashville, Ga.

The bride elect is  the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Lewis Cox, Mrs. Sandra Prince Allen, and  Dr. and Mrs. James McKibben Allen, all of Valdosta. She is a 2007 graduate of Berrien High School, attended ABAC and graduated from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College with a diploma in  Dental Assisting. She is employed  at Jeffery N. Cox, DMD as a Certified Dental Assistant.

The  future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Shirley Owens Wright and the late Robert Floyd “Joe” Wright of Ocilla,  and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Theodore Collins of Fitzgerald.

He is a 2006 graduate

of Irwin County High School; graduated from ABAC with an Associate’s  Degree in Business Administration; and a graduate

of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Education. He

is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health. He is employed at the Georgia Department

of Public Health as an

Environmental Health

Specialist.
