L.C.  Copeland II and Marjorie Copeland of  Valdosta announce the  engagement of their son, Michael C. Copeland  to  Summer L. Livingston Ward, daughter of Alan and Sharice Watford and Harold Holliday,  III of Kansas City, Mo.

The wedding is planned for  4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at  The Loretto in Kansas City, Mo.

The bride elect is  the granddaughter of Louis and Wanda Livingston of Kansas City, Mo., and Gayle Holliday of Kansas City, Mo.  She is a graduate of The Aveda Institute of South Florida and is self employed as a professional hairstylist.

The future groom is the grandson of Edith Willis and the late James and Tena Mae Green of Valdosta and Virginia Copeland and the late L.C. Copeland, Sr. of Valdosta. He is a graduate of Lowndes High School and Florida Atlantic University. He is employed with the Unites States Army.
