WOODSTOCK— Richard and Patricia Hobbs of Woodstock, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Hobbs of Kennesaw, Ga., to Evan Wakeley, of Kennesaw, Ga., son of Melvin and Sheila Wakeley of Valdosta.
An intimate family wedding is planned to be held May 30, 2015 at The Mansion on Forsythe, in Savannah, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late James and Margaret Hobbs of Woodstock, Ga., and the late Jesse and Linda Bentley of Phoenix, Ariz. She is a graduate of Woodstock High School; graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry; Master’s Degree in Secondary Science Education; and will complete her Ed.S. in Secondary Science Education this Spring. She is employed as a Chemistry teacher for Gwinnett County Public Schools.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Gilbert and Annie Wakeley of Folkston, Ga., and the late Lewis and Katherine Banks of LaGrange, Ga. He is a graduate of Valdosta High School; graduate of Georgia Southern University with double Bachelor’s Degrees in Information Systems and Logistics and Intermodal Transportation. He is employed as a Programmer Analyst at Total Systems Services in Kennesaw, Ga.
