Memorial Day Get-a-Way at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park

The first holiday of the summer is here and the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park & Campground (SOSMPC) is ready to help you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Please come join us for the great 309C Band of Palatka Friday, May 22, and the always awesome Justin Case Band Saturday, May 23, for some great music, dancing and enjoyment. Sunday evening your favorite DJ Chuck Burnett will spin terrific dance music in the Music Hall starting at 8 p.m.

Start off the holiday weekend early Thursday, May 21, with Ted “Teddy MacElvis” McMullen in the Music Hall for karaoke from 7-10 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Come join in the fun and sing a while.

309C Band is a young, energetic, talented country band that has taken North Florida by storm the past several years, playing gigs at the SOSMPC, venues all over and also played the Suwannee River Jam this year. They competed last year in the Country Showdown. This band will get your attention immediately and have you dancing the night away while enjoying its wonderful talented musicians and singers.

Saturday night features the ever popular, dynamic country, Southern rock band that has been entertaining adoring audiences for decades in North Florida. As seasoned professional musicians with a gift for songwriting, music and performance, this band has become one of the most popular to play the SOSMPC. You are sure to enjoy Justin Case’s music so don’t forget those dancing shoes.

Sunday evening DJ Chuck Burnett will spin terrific dance music in the Music Hall starting at 8 p.m.

The Music Hall will be open all weekend. The SOS Café and Restaurant will have delicious food available at regular prices. A full service bar is also available. A breakfast buffet will be available Saturday and Sunday morning as well as a Sunday Brunch buffet from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday – Monday a food and drink stand will be available at the Suwannee River beach area for our guests’ convenience. Then, there are the outside activities! Kids may enjoy free hotdogs, water slide, bounce houses, game room and the swimming pool for overnight guests while adults might like to try golf cart riding, disc golf, hiking, biking and/or canoeing.

Gate admission for non-campers is $10 per carload.
