VALDOSTA— Kathy and Keith Humphrey of Valdosta and Cyndi and Wilson Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Millie Lavenia Taylor, to Patrick Neil Jordan, son of Stanley and Victoria Jordan of Stockton, Ga., and Patty Lewis of Pavo, Ga.

The wedding is planned for 6:30 p.m. June 20, 2015 at Rivers Farm House in Lakeland, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lavenia Kees and the late Marvin Kees of Quitman, Ga., and the late Donald and Marion Taylor and Neita Taylor of Quitman. The bride-elect  received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Valdosta State University in 2011.  She will complete her Master’s Degree in Nursing in May 2016 at Valdosta State University and plans to work as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is currently employed at South Georgia Medical Center as a Registered Nurse (RN).

The future groom is the grandson of Joe and Bobbie Jean Jordan, and Pat Lewis and Wallace Lewis all of Pavo, Ga. He  received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education at Valdosta State University in 2011 and is currently employed by the Lanier County Board of Education as a teacher.
