Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park named one of top 12 music venues in U.S.

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park & Campground (SOSMP) in Live Oak has been named one of the “Top 12 Music Venues To See In The US Before You Die” in a story published by Live For Live Music (L4LM). L4LM is a premier music media, marketing and production company that produces an online website covering live concerts its fans want to see and hear about. The article says included in the music venues selected across America are many mind-blowing venues ranging from outdoor amphitheaters found in mountains to indoor decorated spaces with amazing architecture and history. Posted by Sara Fuer, she says all 12 venues chosen are must-see destinations for music lovers. Fuer mentions SOSMP festivals such as Wanee, AURA, Hulaween and the long running and extremely popular Bear Creek Music and Art Festival, which held its last festival in 2014 after many years of drawing thousands. The SOSMP has gained its reputation among music festival lovers through some of these and many other festivals held yearly.

“It remains something of a hidden gem,” Fuer notes of the SOSMP.

SOSMP CEO James Cornett said the Music Park staff work hard to provide visitors to the venue along the Suwannee River with memorable experiences.

The Park also has live music four nights a week in the Music Hall with karaoke Tuesday and Thursday along with live bands Friday and Saturday night.
