The Live Oak Police Department and city of Live Oak’s Candy Carnival is Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6-9 p.m. at Festival Park, at the corner of Pine Avenue SW and West Howard Street. According to LOPD Chief Buddy Williams, there will be lots of activities for the kids to do. If you would like to set up a booth, volunteer or donate candy, please let Williams know at 386-362-7463. “We will have several thousand kids and adults come through and could use the help,” said Williams.
Trick-or-treating will be from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 31.
Friday night, Oct. 23, from 6-7 p.m., local historian Eric Musgrove will host a cemetery tour at Live Oak Cemetery on Winderweedle Street in Live Oak.
Branford will have a fall festival Oct. 31 beginning at 3:30. Town trick-or-treating will be from 6-8 p.m. The corn maze in Branford will be open at 5 p.m. for non-scary, with scary at 7 p.m.
