Fall Roundup: Branford High School FFA celebrates the 5th annual event

The Branford High School FFA hosted their 5th annual Fall Roundup for students, parents, alumni, elected officials and local farmers on Monday, Sept. 21.
This event encourages agriculture students to come and learn about career development events, participate in leadership conferences and attend National Convention.
A cake raffle fundraiser during this event helps offset the cost of travel for competitions the FFA attends and programs utilized throughout the year. The National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ky. and Florida FFA Convention in Orlando are just two of the events these bright students attend during the year.
The Branford FFA has received several awards at these competition which include a three star recognition four years in a row.
This event also notified the public of the new middle school officers elected this year: President-Barrett Young, Vice-President- Dara Cannon, Secretary-Colton Allen, Treasurer-Dallas Frierson, Reporter-Jared Hill, Sentinel- Kinleigh Collins, Parliamentarian-Jeremy Byrd, Chaplain-Wyatt Miller, Historian-Hannah Howard, and Student Advisor-Claire Lloyd.
