1200 North Patterson Street was built in the early 1920s for Arthur Lee, Kathryn Russell Davis, and their daughter Kitty. According to the U.S. Census, the home was valued at $25,000 in 1930. At least two more families, Billy B. Lastinger and Alpheus Talley, lived in the house before it was demolished in the late 1950s or early 1960s to make way for a C&S Bank. VSU currently owns the property.
