Ann Francis Spitzer

Ann Francis Spitzer, 65, of Valdosta,  passed away Monday, Jan.  11, 2016 at the Heritage House. 

She was born on Oct. 11, 1950 in New York City, N.Y. to the late John “Happy” and Florence (Ebert) Spitzer, Sr. Mrs. Spitzer was raised in show business acting until ill health forced her to retire. She performed as a juggler with her brother and sister. Her father “Happy” did a mule act with the Hunt Brothers circus for many years. She also enjoyed playing Bingo with friends. Along with her parents,  Mrs. Spitzer is preceded in death by her nephew, Brian C. Boese and a brother, John James Spitzer, Jr.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law; Margie and Ray Boese of Valdosta; two nephews, John Spitzer, N.Y., James Spitzer of  Maine; niece, Sonia Lira of Texas.

As per her wishes,  Mrs. Spitzer will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
