Live Oak shooting suspect still unidentified, at large

A person was shot in Live Oak over the weekend.
On Saturday, Live Oak Police Department officers responded to a shooting victim at Shands Live Oak Regional Medical Center, according to a press release from the LOPD.
The victim had been shot multiple times.
The LOPD then identified the location of the shooting as the 600 block of Irvin Avenue.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office helped LOPD officers to gather evidence at the scene, which is currently being processed by the FDLE.
Police detectives believe the incident may have been drug-related, according to the LOPD statement.
The suspect is unknown and at large, according to police, and the investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information can contact the LOPD at 362-7463.
