VALDOSTA — A Lowndes couple were charged Monday in connection with a sexual incident over the summer involving a minor.

Brandon Ray Creasy, 19, 4196 Cindy St., and his fiancee, Brandi Leigh Harpe, 21, 3862 Old Pine Road, are charged with felony child molestation following a July incident with a 13-year-old girl, said Det. Wanda Temples, Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.

Temples and Det. Alicia Brantley are investigating a July incident which was not reported until recently.

Temples said the juvenile received her mother’s permission to spend the night with Harpe after church one evening. At the home, Harpe and the girl watched pornographic videos with Creasy, during which time the fondling of the minor occurred, the detective said. Information about the alleged molestation came to light after the girl confided to other friends about the incident, Temples said.

The couple are being held in the Lowndes County Jail without bail following their arraignment.
