Kitty McQueen Hatch

Kathryn (Kitty) McQueen Hatch of Branford died Tuesday. She was 77.



Mrs. Hatch was born in Jacksonville and moved to Branford in 1949. She was the co-founder of the Branford Western Auto Store, Hatch Enterprises, and Branford Sales.



Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Arthur Rudolph Hatch; daughters Sandra Anusavice of Gainesville and Sharon Mitchell of Marianna; sons Randy Hatch of Branford and Joel Hatch of Valencia, California; brother Young McQueen of Jacksonville; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.



Services were incomplete at press time.

Lenora Barrs



Lenora Barrs, 78, of Branford passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2004 in her residence after a long illness. Mrs. Barrs lived in Branford all her life. She was a homemaker, a member of Burlington Santa Fe Church of Christ, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Branford Chapter No. 112.



Survivors include three daughters; Kathy Smith, Moultrie, GA, Carolyn Gaylard, Branford and Martha Stephens, McAlpin; two sons, Robert Barrs and Russell Barrs, both of Branford, one sister: Violet Hatcher, Dothan, AL, nineteen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.



Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Burlington Santa Fe Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Sain and Rev. Eddie Blalock officiating. Interment followed in the Santa Fe Cemetery in Branford.



Visitation was Tuesday evening at Daniels Funeral Home in Branford from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Daniels Funeral Home of Branford was in charge of all arrangements.
