Gary Burroughs
Gary Burroughs, 53, of Live Oak, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004, in the V.A. Medical Center, Lake City, after a short illness. The Jacksonville native moved to Live Oak in 1986, was of the Baptist faith and a U.S. Army veteran of 16 years, serving during the Vietnam conflict as staff sergeant.
Survivors include: his wife, Marianne Burroughs, Live Oak; one daughter, Toni Burroughs, Live Oak; two sons, Joseph Leon and Christopher Neil Burroughs, both of Live Oak; two sisters, Marie Holmes, Hamburg, Mich. and Leona Williams, Live Oak; and three brothers, Ronnie Burroughs, Jacksonville and Leslie and Peyton Burroughs, both of Live Oak. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Dorothy Burroughs and brother, Ralph Burroughs.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., April 13, 2004 at First Baptist Church, Live Oak with the Rev. Phillip Herrington officiating. Interment followed in the veterans section of the Live Oak Cemetery.
Daniels Funeral Home of Live Oak was in charge of all arrangements.

Erma L. Wheeler, 71, of Live Oak, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004, in her home.
