LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.— David and Faith Cooper of Lawrenceville, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Cooper of Claxton, Ga., to Shot Scarboro of Claxton, Ga., son of Wayne and Wanda Scarboro of Swainsboro, Ga.

The wedding will be held at 6:30 p.m. June 25, 2016 in Flintstone, Ga. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Winston Cooper (Margaret) of Valdosta; Mrs. Sybil Chambers of Griffin, Ga.; and the late Mr. A.D. Chambers. 

The future bride is a 2008 graduate of Collins Hill High School, Suwanee, Ga.; 2013 graduate of Georgia Southern University. She is a 7th Grade Language Arts Teacher at Claxton Middle School, Claxton, Ga.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Gertrude Thompson of Swainsboro, Ga. and the late Randolph Thompson; the late Mr.and Mrs. A.D. and Minnie Scarboro of Swainsboro, Ga.

The future groom is a is a 2007 graduate of Swainsboro High School, Swainsboro, Ga.; and 2013 graduate of Georgia Southern University. He is employed as a Athletic Director and Physical Education Teacher at Claxton Middle School, Claxton, Ga.
