QUITMAN — Cass Burch Chevrolet is building a new facility and it is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2017, according to a press release from Cass Burch.

The size of the dealership will double from 15,000 square feet to 30,000 square feet and act as a sales and service facility, according to the release.

The new space will double the inventory, house a customer cafe, a kids playroom, new furniture and fixtures and new diagnostic and repair equipment, said Bobby Joseph, general manager.

Cass Burch, the dealership’s owner, is moving the location as a response to the growth since opening four years ago, he said.

“The current facility does not allow us to serve them in the manner, nor with the amenities, that we want to provide them with,” Burch said. “We want to reciprocate the loyalty that the communities of Quitman and Valdosta have shown us by providing them both with a more convenient location.

“We are so thankful for our friends and customers in South Georgia and North Florida. I think one of the most rewarding things in life is being able to give back to those who have helped you grow a successful business. This is another step in doing that for our amazing customers and our dedicated team.”

With the new facility being built, 10 to 15 new employees will be hired, Joseph said.

The new location is on four acres at 12000 Highway 84 East and is a little more than three miles east of the current dealership, according to the release.

The Cass Burch Automotive group also includes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealerships in Quitman and Valdosta.
