MAYO – Brack Jackson encouraged house buyers and sellers to consider using a realtor at the Mayo Rotary Club meeting Oct. 12.

Jackson is currently a Broker Associate at Saucer Realty&Capital in Lake City.

He became a realtor in 2003 and started his own business in 2005. He was managing his family’s dairy farm while working as a realtor, so in 2010 he sold his realtor business to focus on the dairy.

Jackson said in February 2016 the dairy prices dropped so he closed the family dairy and got back into realty.

Jackson said an advantage for buyers and sellers to have a real estate agent is that they have someone who knows the market when pricing the house and when negotiating between the buyer and seller.

“I know what to do in a crisis or if you have a problem in a transaction,” Jackson said.

He added that when you hire an agent, you not only get their time and effort but advertising on different platforms.

“I’m pretty pleased with what I have done so far,” Jackson said, “I have my second home fixing to close.”
