ORANGEBURG, S.C. — Mr. and Mrs. Edward Neal Branan of Orangeburg, S.C. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Grey, to Emory Justin Ray of Denver, Colo., son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lamar Ray of Adel, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Alice Branan and the late Mr. Lorenza Dixon Branan of Macon, Ga., and Mrs. Charles Alderson Daniel and the late Mr. Daniel of Asheville, N.C.
The future bride earned a BSN degree, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. She is employed as a nurse in the Emergency Department at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colo.
The groom-elect is the grandson Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Levin Shaw, Sr., of Lakeland, Ga. and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Ray of Adel, Ga.
The future groom earned an Associate Degree of Science in Biology from Gordon College in Barnesville, Ga., and a BS Degree in Business Administration from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Ga. He is employed by Tradesmen International as a field representative in Denver, Colo.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 22, 2016, in Littleton, Colo.
