MAYO — The Lafayette FFA Tool Identification team competed and placed 4th in the 2016 Florida FFA Tool Identification Career Development Event Thursday, December 1, at the Florida FFA Leadership Training Center in Haines City. 

Fifty-one middle school chapters competed in the event. 

The Tool Identification Event is designed to develop the ability to correctly identify the names and uses of 185 tools common to the Agricultural Education Curriculum. 

Team members were Seth Chandler, tied for CDE high individual; Cason Driver, tied for 3rd overall high individual; Seth Greaves and Avery Morgan. 

The chapter appreciates Marcus Calhoun for assisting in coaching the team.
