Suwannee volleyball loses close one to Ft. White Indians

It was a tight game and the Lady Dogs fought to the end, but the Ft. White Lady Indians defeated them in three games 23-25, 19-25 and 22-25.
Suwannee showed plenty of good moves and play that is much improved from last year. Leading players for Suwannee were Heather Benson, Sharon Jelks, Marcella Walker and Kortney Cherry.
Individual stats:
Heather Benson had six service points, one ace, 15 assists and one dink.
Kyla Serrona had five service points, four aces and two assists.
Sharon Jelks had three kills, five service points, two aces and seven assists.
Marcella Walker had nine service points, seven kills and one assist.
Kortney Cherry had two service points, five kills, one aces and three dinks.
Heather LeBlanc had one service point.
Merlonda Owens had two assists.
Nareyda Pecina had two assists.
The JV Lady Dogs also lost in two very close matches 21-25 and 22-25.
