VALDOSTA — Clinton and Jeana Beeland of Valdosta announce the engagement of their daughter, Mitchell Beeland of Valdosta, to André Weltman Tatar of São Paulo, Brazil, son of Beni and Katia Weltman Tatar of São Paulo, Brazil. 

The wedding will be held in March 2017 in Lake Park, Georgia. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Curtis and Jean Fowler of Valdosta, Georgia and Robbie and Jan Beeland of Macon, Georgia. 

The future bride is a Valdosta High graduate. She plans to graduate from Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2017 with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. 

The groom-elect is the grandson of Meri Sarkis Weltman, Fanny Skipka, Zeca Guitcis, and Henrique Tatar, all of São Paulo, Brazil. 

The future groom attends Georgia Institute of Technology and plans to graduate December 2017 with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is employed by American BOA in Cummings, Ga.
