SYCAMORE, Ga. — Beth Duke of Sycamore, Ga. announces the engagement of her daughter, Donna Duke of Valdosta, to Brett McDaniel of Valdosta, son of John and Iris McDaniel of Valdosta. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Roy Duke.

The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. April 29, 2017 at Quail Branch Lodge in Lake Park, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Denham and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Duke.

The future bride is a 2000 graduate from Mercer University and is employed by Duke Energy.

The groom elect is the grandson of Marthena Harrell and the late Rudolph Harrell and also the late Mr. and Mrs. J.H. McDaniel.

The future groom is a 1994 graduate of Mercer University; and a 1998 graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He is employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
