LEESBURG, Ga. — Thomas Shane and Deborah Tucker of Leesburg, Ga. and William Timothy and Pam Reaves of Hahira, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Reaves of Bluffton, S.C., to Christopher Gibson of Bluffton, S.C., son of Hope Gibson and Kenneth R. Hughett and the late Tate Gibson, all of Harriman, Tenn.

The wedding will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 15, 2017 at Red Gate Farms in Savannah, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Montine Lavender and the late Kenneth Lavender of Valdosta, Ga.; Ms. Lonie Brown of Hahira, Ga., Joe and Pat Reaves of Valdosta, Ga., and  the late Elaine Reaves of Valdosta, Ga.

The future bride is a 2006 graduate from Lowndes High School and 2010 graduate from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. She is employed as an Oncology Nurse at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah, Ga.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Virginia Gibson and the late Ronnie Gibson, the late Jack and Geneva Renfro, all of Harriman, Tenn.

The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Harriman High School. He attended Roane State Community College and Strayer University. He is employed with Verizon in Business Sales  is a licensed Pilot and licensed Boat Captain.
