Whether they attended South Georgia State Normal College, Georgia State Woman’s College, or Valdosta State College, former students of the Valdosta State University’s early days will soon have the opportunity to participate in two commemorative events.

The Valdosta State College Class of 1956 will celebrate its 50-year class reunion in the University Center Cypress Room at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $30 per person and include the meal and entertainment. Students from the classes of 1954, 1955, 1957 and 1958 are also invited to celebrate the occasion.

The annual House in the Woods luncheon will take place at the University Center Magnolia Room, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Alumni and faculty from the Class of 1915 through the Class of 1966 are welcomed. Tickets are $15 per person.
