Jannette Eloise Murray
Jannette Eloise Murray, 53, of Valdosta, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1952, in Palm Beach, Fla. to the late Emmitt and Sarah Lee Jones Murray. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Reggie Murray of Valdosta; three brothers, Jimmie L. Chambers (Ella), Valdosta, Paul E. Murray (Mae), West Palm Beach, Fla., Rumel Jones, Valdosta; three aunts, Janie Berry, Valdosta, Dorothy Cuffie, Summerville, N.J., Agnes Greene (William), Pennington, N.J.; one uncle James Garland (Annie), Valdosta; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. David Adams, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. — Scott And Roberts Mortuary.

Sara B. Burroughs
Sara B. Burroughs, 83 of Valdosta, died on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at Crestwood Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
Born on Dec. 15, 1922, in Naylor, she was the daughter of the late John and Gladys Moore Barker. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Marie Burroughs of Naylor, Thomas, Jr. and Teresa Burroughs of Douglasville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four nephews; one niece and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thomas Burroughs Sr. and one son, Richard B. Burroughs.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Hibberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
