Conine, Ronald “Alan”
Ronald “Alan Conine, Jr. 20, died Nov. 14, 2006 in Clermont. Alan was a native of Gainesville and had lived in Gilchrist County for the past 10 years. He was a past employee of Food Lion in Alachua and was currently an employee of R. J. Camron Construction of Gainesville at the time of his death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Branford.
Survivors include: mother-Lorna (Michael) Williams of Branford, father- Ronald Conine, Sr. of Live Oak; two brothers- Charles Wingate of Branford, Jon Williams of Gainesville; three sisters-Larana Wingate of Branford, Taylor Conine of Michigan, Monica White of Gainesville; maternal grandparents- Howard and LaWanna Christie, Sr of Live Oak; financee- Tanya Richey of Branford; aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by- brother-Nicholas Conine, sister- Tresca Conine, paternal grandparents- Arthur and Sarah Conine.
Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006 in the Chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery of Jasper. Visitation with the family was from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Green, Jason, Sr.
Jason Green, Sr. 25, of Lake City passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14. 2006 in Clermont due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The Cullman, Alabama native was a carpenter for R. J. Cameron Construction Co. in Gainesville.
Survivors include his companion: Tina West Green, Lake City; his mother, Sherri Lynn Beard, Lake City; father, Randall Green, Addison, AL; one brother: Zackery Green, Addison, AL; maternal grandparents: James and Jennie Lee, Lake City; paternal grandmother: Helen Green, Addison, AL; nephew: Eli Green.
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 at Daniels Memorial Chapel, Branford with Rev. Jesse Lewis and Rev. Steven Baldwin officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the services.

Kelly, Donald
Donald Kelly, 19, of Branford, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006 in Clermont, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The Gainesville, native lived in Branford most of his life, was a carpenter for R. J. Cameron Construction Co. Gainesville, was a past member of Branford Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, Branford.
Survivors include his fiancée: Amy West, Branford; his father, Jeff Kelly, Branford and his mother Karen Kelly, Branford; two sisters, Jenifer and Jessica Kelly, both of Branford; paternal grandmother, Lela “Judy” Kelly, Branford.
Funeral services were conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006 at Lebanon Baptist Church, Branford with Rev. Tommy Cannon and Rev. Joe Dunn officiating. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Ross, Frances “Fran”
Frances “Fran” Ross, 73, passed away Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 in Lafayette Health Care Center, Mayo following a long illness.
Mrs. Ross was born July 26, 1933, in Tampa and lived most of her life in the Branford area. She retired from the Suwannee County school system as a records clerk with 29 years of service, and attend the First Baptist Church of Branford.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Ross of Branford; her mother, Lottie Bernardo of Dowling Park; one daughter, Lauri Reaves of Branford; two sons, Ty and Jack Ross both of Branford; two sisters, Helen Green of Jacksonville, and Irene Rowell of Madison; a brother, Manuel Bernardo, II, of High Springs. Eight grandchildren also survive.
Memorial graveside services were conducted Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Gordon Keller and Mr. David Campbell officiating. Visitation was Sunday evening, 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

West, Jerry Lee Buddy”
Jerry Lee “Buddy” West, 20, of Branford, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006 in Clermont, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The Gainesville native lived in Branford most of his life, was a carpenter for R. J. Cameron Construction, Co. Gainesville.
Survivors include his fiancée: Audra Michelle Wallen, Branford; his mother and step father: Leitha and John Jenkins, Branford and his father: Jerry Lee West, Branford; three sisters, Tina Marie West, Lake City, Amy Marie West and Ashley Irene Jenkins both of Branford; maternal grandmother, Leitha Mary Walker, Branford; paternal grandmother, Paulette West, Branford and paternal grandfather, Carlton West, Branford.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006 at Riverside Baptist Church, off Highway 129 in Gilchrist County, with Rev. Al Pfleuge. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at the Branford Funeral Home.
