Around dusk on each of these evenings, the Fearmaker takes to Lonestar Stage to ring in the beginning of the night’s horrors.

The 2017 “Terror” brings four haunted attractions and four scare zones, all set after the apocalypse.

Haunted attractions, which allow guests to fully immerse themselves into a horror story, include Infested, Apocalypse, Camp Hack-A-Way and Clown Chaos.

Scare zones include Alien Invasion, Coven, Reaper’s Garden and Malice in Terrorland.

There is a “Terror in the Wild” VIP package available, according to park staff. It includes one-day single admission, one meal voucher, one bottomless soda wristband, five front of the line passes for haunted attractions and rides, one VIP lanyard and one 6×8 souvenir photo.

With park admission, the cost is $60. The VIP package can be added to admission for $23.99. Both must be done online at wildadventures.com.

For younger guests, Kid-O-Ween is in full swing Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29.

Activities include bouncy balls and bubbles boonanza, costume parade, dancing scarecrow, foam pit, kids’ costume contest, kids’ crafts and activities, Monty’s Magical Pumpkin Forest, Scarecrow Alley, Spook-A-Rama and trick or treating.

On Saturdays, when both Kid-O-Ween and “Terror in the Wild” take place, Kid-O-Ween will end at 6 p.m. and transition into “Terror,” which is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
