Roberts has helped students have a better understanding of the math classes she teaches.

The DAR Georgia Junior Daughters submitted her proposal to the national society. Each year the Georgia DAR Juniors host a fundraising event and dinner during their State Board of Management Weekend.

The proceeds, in part, benefits the Helen Pouch Fund.

Roberts has been invited to attend the annual dinner and evening event on Friday, Nov. 3, in Augusta to share details of her project, how it has been implemented thus and how the students are responding.
