The video has reached approximately 40,000 people. The top three states the video has reached on Facebook are Georgia, Florida and Texas.

The VLCDA partnered with Valdosta State University to make the video, Barwick said.

The video can be found at the following link: youtu.be/gbWHYPQgscg.

Barwick said the video has not been added to the VLCDA’s website because she is planning to have the website redesigned in the next few months and will add a video section, she said.

During the meeting, Stan Crance, existing industry coordinator, gave an update on existing industries and the current expansions including Martin’s Famous Pastry Shoppe and Hunt Industries.

Authority Executive Director Andrea Shruijer gave a brief update on Project Max.

“We continue to work on Project Max, which is definitely moving in the right direction, and we hopefully should have more news in the next couple weeks,” she said.

The VLCDA meets 5:30 p.m., the third Tuesday of every month, at 103 Roosevelt Drive. The meetings are open to the public.
