Submitted PhotoV-Town Connection performs for Pinevale Elementary School.

VALDOSTA – Pinevale Elementary School recently held its annual black history program. 

Each grade level was represented in the black history parade where students performed skits and dances from different eras, according to school officials.

Presentations were from the Harlem Renaissance, civil rights movement and some abolitionists. There were also visitors from some of those eras such as Ruby Bridges, Harriet Tubman and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

Performances were given by members of the Pinevale High School alumni, the Valdosta High School chorus and V-Town Connection.
