One dead after wreck at Exit 22

UPDATE 10:25 a.m. Exit 22 is expected to be open by 11 a.m. according to authorities.

VALDOSTA — One person is dead following a wreck on I-75 Monday morning, authorities said. 

At approximately 7:30 a.m. a car and a semi-truck collided off Exit 22 on I-75, according to the Lowndes County Sheriff Ashley Paulk.

One female from Indiana died in the wreck, Paulk said. Another individual has been transported to the hospital.
