MOULTRIE – A Moultrie teen-ager returned to his car on Wednesday to find someone had drawn obscene artwork on the side and also spray-painted a vulgarity.
Jose Moreno, 18, noticed a drawing of “a male’s private parts” done with green spray paint on the passenger door of his 2015 Hyundai Sonata.
Moreno called police after noticing the damage at 11:10 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Boulevard. He told police that the vandal painted the door while the car was parked overnight in the 600 block of Veterans Parkway South.
A vulgar word had been painted on the same door, police said.
Moreno told police that on Monday someone sent him a phone text using the same word, so he thinks the incidents are related.
In other reported property damage:
• Jesse Childers, 300 block Magnolia Avenue, reported to the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office that a male acquaintance pulled a window air conditioner out of a window of his residence, breaking the glass, and then beating it with his hands.
The man ran into a wooded area when Childers told him that he was calling the police. Childers and the man were having an argument in which Childers accused him of damaging the air conditioner.
