LAKELAND — Participants can believe in magic and help the Lanier County High School Marching Band at the same time Friday evening.

Illusionists David & Jenny from the NBC television show “America’s Got Talent” are scheduled to perform 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 11, Lanier County High School gym, according to organizers.

David & Jenny have been touring the “Cutting-Edge Illusions & Daring Escapes” show across the United States.

His inspiration came at the age of 8 when a juggler pulled him on stage. By the age of 17, he had already won the world juggling championships and set several world records, according to bio information. Having mastered juggling, he was hungry for a new challenge and found his skills enabled him to quickly excel in the art of magic.

Today, David and his fiancé, Jenny, perform world-class illusions and innovative feats such as making a motorcycle appear out of thin air and a modernized version of Houdini’s greatest escape, according to their bio information.
