Moody airman charged with sexual assault

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE — An airman has been charged with sexual assault, according to a release from MAFB.
2nd Lt. D’Andre Johnson, assigned to the 23rd Logistics Readiness Squadron at MAFB is charged with two specifications of sexual assault, under Article 120 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, according to Moody officials.
Johnson is charged with assaulting two victims around Sept. 17, 2017, the release states.
One of the victims was unable to give consent due to impairment by alcohol, the release states. The second victim did not consent to a sexual act, according to Moody officials.
Johnson is currently present for duty and is scheduled for trial by court martial Oct. 22, the release states.
