The season is scheduled to open with the seventh-grade class performing Hans Christian Anderson’s “Little Mermaid,” playing 7 p.m. Oct 16, 18.

“I have two separate casts so the show will be different each night,” Jarvis said.

The eighth-grade class presents “The Snow Queen,” 7 p.m., Oct. 30.

The sixth-grade class performs its annual evening of shorts, 7 p.m., Nov. 6, 8.

“This year, we will have two completely different shows as I have divided my classes for the two performances,” Jarvis said.

The spring musical is scheduled to be “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” playing March 13-15. The March 13 performance will be the youth show, Jarvis said.

All shows will be performed at the old Valdosta High School Performing Arts Center, 3101 N. Forrest St.
