VALDOSTA — A jail inmate released on a two-day holiday pass is several days overdue at the Lowndes County Jail, according to the county sheriff.
Jesse Clifton Holder was released to go home for the Thanksgiving holiday, Lowndes County Sheriff Ashley Paulk said Wednesday. He said such releases are arranged for non-violent offenders.
Holder has been charged with escape, Paulk said.
A sheriff’s office report describes Holder as a white male, 6’2″ tall, weighing 190 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
