LIVE OAK — Looking for a vintage trailer and car event?

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is the place to find it Saturday. It’s the Gathering of the Times Vintage Trailer Rally where campers gather with other vintage car and trailer enthusiasts for several days before holding the big event Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the beautiful park grounds adjacent to the famous Suwannee River.

Those attending may see such vintage trailers and cars as a 1972 Airstream, 1968 Scotty, 1955 Barold, 1967 Scotty,1966 Shasta,1963 Pace Arrow, 1958 Yellowstone, 1961 Shasta, a 1973 Alaskan truck camper, 1966 Kenskill, 1956 Joytime, 1978 VW Bus, 1956 Silver Dome, 1955 Wally Byam Holiday, 1966 Little Dipper, 1966 Winnebago, 1967 Zipper, 1967 Haney Tifton, 1953 Spartan Imperial Mansion and much more.

Do you have a classic car? Come on out and join in! Bring your classic car to the cruise-in, no fee. Just be there before 10 a.m. to get signed in and in place.

The public is invited and it’s free admission! Owners will be on hand to give tours and answer questions regarding the more than 100 vintage trailers and cars expected to be on display.

Members of Gathering of the Times will meet next week at the Macon, Georgia, Rest Stop #22 to form the caravan and then travel to Valdosta and take a break at Georgia Rest Stop #6 before heading on to the SOSMP on U.S. Highway 129 in North Florida.
